The Good News: God's Plan of Salvation

God Loves You

The Bible tells us that God loves you and created you to have a personal relationship with Him.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

God's desire is not only to forgive your sins but to give you a new life filled with purpose, hope, peace, and eternal life.

The Problem: Sin Separates Us from God

Every person has sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Sin separates us from God and leaves us spiritually lost.

"For the wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23)

No amount of good works, religion, church attendance, or personal effort can remove our sin or make us right with God.

God's Solution: Jesus Christ

Because God loves us, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins.

"But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

Jesus lived a sinless life, died in our place, was buried, and rose again on the third day, defeating sin and death.

"Christ died for our sins... He was buried... He was raised on the third day." (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

Your Response: Repent and Believe

Salvation is a gift that must be received by faith.

Jesus said:

"Repent and believe in the gospel." (Mark 1:15)

To repent means to turn from your sin and surrender your life to Jesus Christ. To believe means to place your trust in Him alone for salvation.

"If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
