Core Doctrinal Beliefs of Raven Ministries International

1. Authority of Scripture

• We affirm that the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and conduct.

2. The Nature of God

• God exists as the one true God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Trinity).

3. Humanity and Sin

• Humanity was created good but fell into sin; therefore, people need redemption through Jesus Christ.

4. Salvation through Jesus Christ

• Salvation is by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, who died, was buried, and rose again, offering forgiveness and eternal life.

• Salvation results in spiritual regeneration and should be evident through a transformed life.

5. Baptism and Communion

• They practice believer’s baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith.

• The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is observed as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His return.

6. Baptism in the Holy Spirit

• Believers are encouraged to seek the baptism in the Holy Spirit, accompanied by power for service and the use of spiritual gifts.

7. Sanctification

• Christians should pursue a life of holiness and obedience through the Holy Spirit.

8. The Church

• The Church is viewed as the body of Christ on earth, appointed to fulfill the Great Commission.

9. Ministry

• God has provided ministry for evangelization and edification of the body of believers.

10. Divine Healing

• They teach that healing is provided in the atonement of Christ and available to believers.

11. Second Coming & Eternal Destiny

• They affirm the Second Coming of Christ, the resurrection of believers, and eternal life in the new heavens and new earth.

• They also acknowledge eternal punishment for those not in Christ.

12. Mission Focus

• A major emphasis of the ministry is on evangelism and outreach, proclaiming the Gospel where people live, work, and gather.
